The Province of Guwahati (Mater Ecclesiae) was canonically erected on 24th February, 2000. Today the Salesian Sisters of Mater Ecclesiae have 293 Sisters working in 38 centres and 1 sub- centre, spread across 4 states ( Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland) and 8 Dioceses (Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Imphal, Itanagar, Kohima, Miao, Tezpur) of North East India.

Founded in 2003, Auxilium Reach Out (ARO) is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It is the Social Development O.ce of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco), Guwahati Province. It is part of the FMA National Development Forum (FMA E NDF) and an international network of FMA Organizations across the globe. With more than 18 years of experience in Community Development, Sustainable Livelihood, Vocational Training and employment promotion for the vulnerable youth, Right education, Distress Migration, Anti Human Tra.cking and Natural Resource Management, ARO continues to work with the tribal and non tribal communities of the four states of Northeast India. ARO has specially focused on the most marginalized especially the Women, Youth and Children, bringing considerable changes in their life and improved standards of living.

We commit ourselves to empower the poor and marginalized, particularly women, youth and children by networking with likeminded organizations on issues of livelihood, human rights, education, health care and environmental protection.
